Hannah + Ben = Destination Wedding on the Beach!

When Hannah’s Mom, Maureen, of Maureen Hartson Photography contacted me about photographing Hannah & Ben’s Destination Wedding on the beaches of Duck, NC I was thrilled! Not only was I excited about photographing a Destination Wedding on the beach, I was also thrilled and flattered that an amazing fellow photographer would ask me to photograph her daughters wedding. When she sent me photos of Hannah and Ben and told me their amazing story I became thrilled just to be a part of it all.
Hannah and Ben are an amazing couple, truly amazing. Having dated for a very long time they decided to wait to share their first kiss until they were at the alter and were officially Husband and Wife. That had to take some incredible willpower - but I’m sooo happy for them. I think it’s just an amazing way to build a relationship, completely based on friendship before anything else.
I REALLY adored all of you guys. Maureen - I just love you! Hannah & Ben, you guys are wonderful, amazing, and perfect for each other, all of your family members made us feel like we were just part of the family. It was a wonderful, beautiful, incredible wedding and I am so happy to have been a part of it all! Destination Wedding Photography is just amazing, I love the rush, the travel, visiting a new location and making it special for the couple I’m photographing!
Although I thought the last wedding that my assistant, Lindsey, photographed with me would be the last one we photographed together - she managed to work out a way to come to the beach with me before her move to Florida. I’m so thankful that she did! I couldn’t have done it without her! If you live anywhere near Gainesville, FL and are looking for a photographer - Lindsey is the one to call! The images below are a mixture of what we photographed that day.
There are soooo many images I love from this wedding, too bad I can’t post them all!
Oh, and as you can see - they totally made up for the lack of pre-marital kissing.
