Amber + Jason = Whirlwind

I am soooo in love with these two people! They’re beautiful, kind, generous, exceptionally intelligent, driven, and just a ton of fun to be around. They share my obsession with hand sanitizer, a dislike of Walmart, and insane knowledge of random diseases, which is just awesome. They were just a blast to be around. They’re sooo in to each other and sweet to each other. I love it.
But… the best part about their engagement session? They let me choose 
They weren’t really sure where they wanted to go or what they wanted to do - so they let me choose. I LOVE when i get to choose. I spend a lot of time scouting interesting locations to photograph at and I so rarely get to use them because most people want to go very specific places for their engagement session - that’s perfectly fine with me, but I LOVE having the artistic freedom to take couples to these secret little hideaways I find and to use some of the ideas I have stored in my head. So, when Amber & Jason said “Wherever, you know what you’re doing, you choose!” my heart melted just a little.
You guys rock! Thank you for braving the hood, the scary cat, and the weeds for me. I think it was worth it! I am sooo looking forward to your wedding in October!

Love that backlit shot in the field with the tree! It’s so beautiful the light is PERFECT! Love all the sepia ones as well…
